Despite our best efforts sometimes problems arise. Earl Consulting Services takes a systematic approach to diagnosing issues. One of the first things we look at is the nature and boundaries of the problem. What is the problem effecting and what is it not effecting. Many times this leads inexorably to a short list of culprits that could be the cause of the issue. We then look at each possiblity to determine the true nature of the problem.

Earl Consulting Services listens intently to your needs during downtime or other issues. If some problem on the network is adversely effecting your business, we concentrate on fixing or creating workarounds to getting that aspect of your business productive first. If there is no quick fix, your productivity and keeping your business running is our first priority.

An effective maintenance program on your network can help greatly in the event of problems. Proper documentation of a network, ip addresses, passwords, etc. can be critical to timely resolution of issues. Also knowing patches, virus definitions, etc are up to date can elliminate the need to check these things when time is of the essence.
